Description
A surface active pickling activator having an inhibiting effect in hydrochloric acid and other pickling acids such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid at the same time. Nearly completely inhibits the acid attacks on the steel, avoids excessive picklings and reduces the acid consumption the result of which is an improvement of the quality and savings of costs.

- Reduces the surface tension whereby the incubation time until the beginning of the pickling process is shortened.
- At the same time the diffusion process between acid and scale resp. metal surface is favoured which accelerates the pickling process and on the whole the pickling time will be reduced.
- Oil and grease films occasionally occurring on the parts to be pickled will be spontaneously wetted and detached from the surface.
- Produces clear and clean surfaces and after good rinsing it does not impair the subsequent treatments (such as e.g. hot metallization and phosphatation).
- Develops a thin foam cover on the bath surface preventing the escape of acid vapour. Consequently the pickling atmosphere is improved.
- At baths heated up this thin foam cover has a heat insulating effect combined with a lower consumption of steam.

KEBOSOL S is directly added into the acid solutions.

Storage
In closed original packages KEBOSOL S is storable for at least 2 years. Protect from freezing.

KEBOSOL S has a tendency to foam. For the neutralization of waste pickling solutions our antifoam KEBOSPUM VZ should be used in case of increased formation of foam.The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.
