Description
KEBOSPUM AS has been formulated for a temperature range from 0 to 30° C: Therefore, the main application field in the sugar factory is the whole flume water cycle comprising flushing of beets, beet pre-washing, beet transport and beet washing as well as the beet tail transport and preparation.
(The processes taking place at the interface when foam is being formed show that antifoams of a certain kind can develop their highest efficiency only within a particular range of temperature.)
Benefits
- KEBOSPUM AS has the ability to immediately distribute in the medium to be defoamed
- and to rapidly enter the interface being formed.
- As a consequence already accumulated foam forming agents (saponins, proteins and others) are displaced.
Dosing, Addition
The required dosage quantity can be determined quickly and easily on site by varying the pump setting. Typically no more than 10 to 50 ppm will be required in the foaming range.Technical data

The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.
Talk to us, we will be happy to help!
On request, we can analyze deposits in our laboratory and develop a cleaning strategy based on our many years of experience, taking into account the conditions on site.
