Highly effective alkaline cleaning agents especially for degreasing metal surfaces
Alkaline cleaners are good for removing organic deposits. Not only residues such as oil, grease, soot or wax and grease-containing soiling are dissolved, but also inorganic soiling such as metal abrasion, pigments and dust. Principally: The more stubborn the contamination from these substances, the higher the concentration of the alkaline product should be.
Caution, on the other hand, must be exercised with surfaces whose composition includes organic substances.
Alkalis are substances that, together with water, form alkaline solutions, which is why alkaline cleaners are also referred to as lyes. As with acids, lyes also vary in strength. Lyes have a pH value greater than 7. The higher the value, the more corrosive the lye.
Ready-formulated cleaning agents for degreasing metal surfaces in aqueous solutions
Whether in the food processing industry, in maintenance or in the chemical industry, our KEBOCLEAN VT is a strong all-rounder. It is universally applicable for the removal of calcium oxalate, silicates and organic sugar degradation substances and of course free of EDTA or NTA. Just an alkaline cleaner with specific acting complexing agents, surfactants and dispersants in an optimal mixture, especially developed for the cleaning of inserts from thick juice or clarifying filters. The filter inserts are usually made of stainless steel mesh or wire.
Specially suitable for cleaning aluminum (its alloys are not attacked) is our KEBOCLEAN ALU.
The products shown on our website are only a selection of our entire product range. There is no universal remedy for the rapid removal of impurities. Some can be removed well with alkaline agents, others better in the acidic range. The large variety of conceivable cleaning problems and the large number of additives, inhibitors and ready-to-use cleaning solutions offered by us make it advisable to obtain detailed advice before starting cleaning.
The same applies to inhibitors, defoamers, scale preventers, corrosion inhibitors, pickling inhibitors, etc. Depending on the plant, material, product and the type of boiler/cooling water is used, different individual challenges arise. We are well equipped for them.
